The Embodiment of Pacifism
Two great examples of jewelry made out of the remains of war. Found Made New creates necklaces from repurposed bullet casings (pictured above), and ARTICLE 22 makes the Peace Bomb Bracelets from aluminum bomb shrapnel from the Vietnam war.
During the Vietnam war, there were roughly 250 million bombs dropped on the tiny country of Laos, and partial proceeds from the Peace Bomb Bracelet will go to the village of Naphia, which is located in a province heavily afflicted by the aerial bombardment.
